Sorry mathews but you have been caught.
First of all i want to say i love mathews bows, they are a legendary product but this year my curiousity has got the best of me. I have been shooting an original z7 and owned two mathews before that, had a hoyt alphaburner last year for fun. It was a solid shooter but not quite up to par with my mathews. All the sudden bowtech was the only major brand id never owned so i purchased a reasonably cheap bowtech assassin. Wow! For one, i havent heard a bow so quiet in my life. Secondly, imo it has my z7 topped by a small margin in all other categories. I never thought id be hanging my trusty mathews up for a $600 package bow but i am, hands down. What a bow! Thumbs up to bowtech. Next year i may have to rid of both and get the top bowtech of 2013 just to see if my mind can be blown anymore.
