Default A little DIY

I have a ameristep ground blind that I bought last year. I came into the woods late last year and it was on the ground(folded up and no longer standing). One of the carbon fiber poles had broke after a wind storm. So for this fall I was trying to figure out what to do and don't have the extra cash to spend on a new blind. You can order a new pole set from ameristep for about $20. I was cleaning up the garage today and found a old broken arrow. So I decided to try replacing the broken part of the pole with the arrow. There about the same diameter and I cut the arrow to length and looks like it will work great. Just a little money saving tip. I will let you know if it works well. Just a good reason to keep stuff like that around. Now maybe the wife will leave me alone about keeping old stuff like that around.
