3 step,
While this page was loading I realized that I had forgot to mention that!
Raccoons. Yep, those dang things finally found my camera. I have a picture of one one the ground, and another one is hanging on the camera. I got alot of pictures of there tails in front of the camera or just blacked out pictures from them covering the lens.
I have the camera set-up in that same area now that I know it wasn' t someone trying to steal the camera. I hooked it onto the tree tightly and wrapped a chain around it pretty tight. Hopefully they won' t be back, and if they are, I don' t think that they will be able to move it.
Friday, Sept 19th, I will check that camera (I am gonna leave those woods alone entirely till then) and hopefully I will have some more pics of that 12, maybe his dad or grandad also!!!!!!

Great pics, nice 12!!
I pulled my second roll last week. More does, no bucks. I was expecting a lot of pig pics because of where I hung it, but was surprised to see a family of does, some mommas and some spotted fawns.
The camera had 18 pics on it and I had a hard time getting it to rewind, the low batt light was blinking so I replaced the batteries and then coaxed it into rewinding. Is there a trick to rewindind the film before it rewinds on its own?? (I left the manual in the cabin)

Hey Dave,
What I normally do is just cover the lens very well, make sure it is entirely covered, Then, I set the camera so once it is activated, it is gonna take the amount of pics I need to finish the roll. Then, wait a few minutes for the camera to go off, and it will automatically rewind.
Now, you may be thinking " that sounds like a pain" , well, yes, but, it saves me money. At our Wal-Mart and Rite-Aid, where I get the pics developed, they will charge you full price for a un-finished roll. But, when I set the camera off and it rewinds by itself, they think that there machines messed up and the price goes down. Last time I did this, I got a roll of film developed (single prints), with one hour photo for $4.12

Thats the trick!!, when you reset the pic # setting, do you have to move the little switch to standby? or just leave it in the on position?
My wal-mart developing today was $1.12 for ~ 12 pics (the rest messed up when the roll was fighting my on rewinding)

Wow, nice pics. Definatly a shooter buck. At least in my part of the country.
A little setup advice though. Keep your camera no more than 2 ft. above the ground. You' ll get alot better shots.

Jason,
I am here every day my friend.
I put my camera out last Saturday night and picked it up last Sunday. Same spot as where the big 8 and 10 were " captured" the weekend before. I only received two pics and they were both of a small 4 pointer visiting the same spot. I was excited to know that there are at least 3 different bucks visiting that area.
The camera is going out again tonight but I have not decided if I want to put it back at that stand or if I want to put it out on a field that I normally hunting evenings. I will post more pics when I get a chance.
Very nice pics though BM. On a related note, how many doe pics are you getting in addition to the buck ones?
