Greetings from Colorado,

I am still looking for your 911 hunting stories. First of all I want to thank all of you who have shared some incrediable experiences, for those of you who would like to contribute a story about you being in the woods or waters on that day and how the terrorist attack impacted you personally, let me know, many of your stories will be used in a book about 911, thanks again for your help..

I was on my way to psychology class when I caught a glimpse on TV. All my classes were cancelled, and we sat glued to the TV for hours on end. Nobody cared about homework or anything, just sat at the damn TV, angry, and discussing what would happen next.

I was awakened by my ex-wife when it happened. She called and told me that we were being attacked.

Imagine the thoughts running thru my head as I shook the cobwebs out trying to wake up. I then sat in front of the television the rest of the day.

I was at work that day there was no hunting open in WI at that time of year I went on break and these guys are talking about planes flying into buildings so asked them what they were talking about and they told me that terrorists flew planes into the world trade towers I thought they were kidding me but then they brought a tv in the break room and we saw the news thats about the time the third plane hit the pentegon.

The rest of the day everybody was glued to the television or to radios in the entire mill. That was a very bad day!!!!

But America and it' s people overcame and will overcome all of this that is going on because we have to! We are the only America there is in this world if we fall there is no America to run to!!!!!

I was at work when a co-worker told me what happened. I work for a local bank, so needless to say, we were put on " high alert" . Everybody was pretty much in shock, and watchwed TV all day. This morning on my way to take my son to school, we listened to actual broadcasts of that morning, as the station was paying tribute to 9/11. My 7 year-old son decides then that he wants to say a prayer for the victims and families. I thought this was exceptional, so we turned down the radio, and he said the prayer, not me. I almost brought a tear to my eye. It is amazing to me to see the depths of how 9/11 effected us.
