RE: Do you get better as the season goes on?
Well I am probably a bit too intense the first week of the season, but for the remaining 3 months I become more relaxed which to me allows me to sit longer and stiller. Towards the end of the season I will admit that there are days I feel hunted out. I get off work every day early enough to allow me to hunt every afternoon if I wanted to, but I don' t want to wind up divorced so I only hunt 3-4 days a week.;)

RE: Do you get better as the season goes on?
voz, are you serious!? You don' t see deer for three weeks at a time!? It says your from texas. I thought there was alot of deer in texas. If I didn' t see a deer in three days I would suspect a mass die off had just occured.
Guys, I get better as the season goes on. My movement threw the noisy forrest floor improves the most. I forget less things as the season progresses. My body becomes used to getting up so early. My eyes can pick up movement better as the weeks drag on. Squirrels don' t sound so much like deer after the first week. The only thing that gets worse and worse is the non hunter people you know complain that they have' nt seen or heard from you. |

VOZ? Whats the deal man? You go weeks without seeing a deer? That depresses me, I must truly me blessed with good deer hunting. Better luck this season!!
