What rest are you using? If it's a WB, your odd vane should be up.

Yes I am using a WB and the odd is up?? Do u think the whiskers are causing it? A few don't lay straight but didn't think that would cause it??

That's about the only thing it could be. I think you mean they are wrinkled. Try using the heat from a hair dryer on them.

Sometime down the road you might consider a different rest.

Ive always put the odd vane up on my WB.. No problems with them.. If you look on the WB on the bottom there are different types of bristles than the rest of the biscuit. I dont claim to be an expert and i honestly have no idea what its like that for but id just assume my fletching not go through it ha.

How old is the bow? And does it have a slider to keep the bow strings out of the way? My old bow did not and I had to turn all the nocks so the colored vane was away from the bow to get clearance from the bow string.
Nock your arrow and then pull it straight through the rest and see if it hits the strings or even the bow itself.
It also could depend on how old your arrows are. The cheep Walmart arrows won't last longer the one season through a WB.
