What kind of bow do you shoot?
What kind of bow do you guys shoot?
I shoot a 2001 High Country Brute Force.
Decked out with 5 pin Cobra Micro Adjust sights, bodoodle rest, kwikee 3 quiver, sims cable slide, shockwave stabilizer, sims split limb savers, and a Tall Antler wrist sling.
All in all with the 12arrows and 6 Shockwave broadheads I got just under $1200 in it. More then that after the arrow' s and heads I' ve had to pick up over the past 2 years since the first year I had it.

RE: What kind of bow do you shoot?
I' m generally shooting my homemade longbow. Cost me $100 for the materials, used a friend' s form and hot box.
Got a freebie recurve, an old Pearson Colt, that had badly twisted limbs. Heated the limbs and worked most of the twist out, then recut the profile of the limbs to take out the rest of the twist and work down the draw weight. I' m thinking about making a form for a recurve of my own design, but that will have to wait until after hunting season.
My compound is a Hoyt ProTec our archery club presented to me as a distinguished service award. I' ve got it decked out with a Doinker stabilizer, Cavalier flipper and catwhiskers, though at one time it wore a GKF Golden Premier, Archers Choice sight and a Fletcher TruPeep and string loop.
Still pull out one of the old SuperSlams when I get in the mood, also shot barebow and fingers.
And then there are the selfbows... Can' t stand getting in a rut with only one style of shooting.

1) Archery Research AR31
2) Mathews Ultra-max
3) Pro-Line New Wave Point Blank
cdnarcher, I know Dave Barnsdale well and have a friend that worked for him and that shoots your same set-up. Nicest bow I' ve seen to carry the PSE name to date!!!!
