Default 1st new stand site going up today!!!!!

I found this spot in turkey season. There is a small old apple tree that never produces but I saw it had one large scrape by it and two other smaller scrapes around it. About 25 yards away is a decent sized pine tree (great for a cover scent) with a natural hole to shoot out of. I will take some pics after I am done and let you all see.

I have 5 pictures here. The first one is my buddy making way for the stand up in the tree. The second one is the biggest scrape and the third one is one of the smaller scrapes. The fourth one is a closer view of the stand, and the fifth one I am standing right where the big scrape is. Exactly 25 yards away from the stand. We are also going to put out a couple trophy rocks and a couple small food plots. I have never tried planting food plots before so this should be a pretty good experience.

That looks like a great spot for a stand scrape of no scrape. That is a great tree for a stand, plenty of cover to draw back and not be seen. If the wind is working in your favor I think your going to do great.

Ever think of putting a small food plot in there. I think some clover would really do some wonders in that spot.

Yeah, my buddy and I are going to try and put a plot on each end and a mineral station between the two with the Monster Raxx minerals. I can't wait to do this and start getting some pics.

Hanging stands is never work in my mind, rather helps with the anticipation for the fall! I've already put up 5 more for fall, could have done without the poison ivy though!
