Default Beards???

My brothers got me into bowhunting four years ago. About a month before the first year, one of my brothers said " Dude, you have to grow a beard!" I asked him why? His reply was " It' s a tradition and you have to!" So every year we grow ours beards for " Tradition." This year I told him I have a better reason...Whoever gets the better deer, gets to shave the other ones beard how ever they want. Now THAT' S a tradition! I hope to have a pic of him ready for you the second week of October...

HAHA!!!!

I just started mine about a week and a half ago. It' s coming in pretty good. I' m told if it keeps growing, I' m going to get " cut off" Not sure if the beard is worth growing out. I may have to trim it to get trim every so often

I wear a goatie yearround, but it' s usually really short and just an excuse not to shave everyday. During bow season, I usually let it get kinda bushy...and by the end of hunting season, I' ve usually let it all grow in.......didn' t know there was a tradition. Sometimes I also have to trim up......to take care of some " personal needs" .

I cant play this game, Uncle Sam doesnt like his little Army troopers wearing beards...and either does my wife.

So...every year I have my own little tradition, I refuse to wash my truck until I bag my buck....so everyone knows when I pull up in a nice shiny truck that I had a GOOD weekend.

Been wearing a beard for 20yrs.I usually keep it trimmed close during the warmer months and let it grow over the winter months.

I have children 39 years old and younger that have seen me without a full beard once - one day while visiting my wife in the hospital.

Neat thing, I pick up pieces of Spanish Moss and stick it in my beard . . . very effective.
