I truely think any animal with a bow is a TROPHY , it takes alot of skill to go out into the animals livingroom so to speak , setup on them , and have every piece of the puzzle fall together. I shot a doe and a basket 6 last year with my bow and i wouldnt hesitate to show neone the rack or pics, and i have already gotten bigger buck.

I believe all animals are trophies. They all take some measure of skill to harvest, and every animal should be respected. If you enjoy harvesting young buck and doe, do it. If you don' t get as excited harvesting these animals anymore, do what you want. To each his own.

I took an old Mossy Horn 5 X 6 Blacktail a few years ago (with a rifle [:' (]) because the opportunity presented.

Mule Deer hunting I' d take another Mossy Horn but my preference is a nice mature doe. If I draw a Bull Permit I' ll work hard for a respectable bull but here again I prefer an mature cow or maybe a spike.

I have taken my share of animals in my 40 years of bowhunting and I have been proud of each and every animal I have taken. Each presented a unique experience in the hunt.
