If all goes well in filling my buck tag in the early to mid season I would like to bowhunt PA. I live in trumbull county and am looking for somewhere with in a hour or so drive to make on the weekends. I would like to find some aerials and topos of some areas to check out. Let me know thanks!!

Hey buckeybuckhunter anywhere in wester PA will be good hunting. Try Fayette, Westmoreland, and Greene Counties. If you need specifics email me at [email protected]. I will get you in the right direction. Were exactly are you coming from? Send me an email, and I will respond and get you in the right direction.

Stay on your own side of the line flatlander
Actually lawrence, mercer, and crawford counties have good deer populations as well as those mentioned above.

Yes it did come from ohio. I live like 15 miutes away from where the " hole in the horn" was found all them years ago in portage county. There are alot of good bucks here. I have always wanted to try deer hunting in a different terrian than what we have here. Very flat. Western Pa is much closer to me than southern Ohio so I thought if I tag out of my buck tag early enough I would like to give Pa' s hills a try.
