Default how much will your loop move over time?

I have a question regarding keeping my bow in tune! I have shot my bow quite a bit over the past two years including about 30 min every day for the last two months!

My question is regarding my loop on my bow Iis possible for it to move upi over time through repeated shooting!

Anyone who has shot alot please help me in telling me if youhave noticed things change on your bow!

I shoot about the same amount as you and switched to a loop about two months ago. It hasn' t moved one bit since I set it.

Which loop???? I mean, you say you' ve been shooting it for 2 years. In two years I would have changed strings 4 times and cables twice and gone through about at least 4 loops. If you haven' t changed a string you' re past due and living on borrowed time. As far as the original question, if installed correctly and you' re pulling back at a near square to the string line it shouldn' t move except for string stetch etc.... which is why you shouldn' t really worry about perfection until you get a 150-200 arrows down range.

I' ve been using a string loop for years and none of them have ever moved. None of them are tied in or have a brass nock installed either.

Ditto. My string is 2 years old, but Winners Choice seems to make a durable string....one more year.

No problem here. Can' t imangine it moving if it' s on right but how can you put it on wrong without it coming off all together? Each time you hook onto it it tightens itself on the string. Must be string streatch as David said.

I agree, As the string creeps the loop can move up and your nocking point will raise.

If you' re getting string stretch and the loop is tied correctly you would also probably loose some of your peep(won' t line up correctly).

Once my string and good and broke in and I know my bow is tuned, I put a drop of superglue at each end of the loop! Better safe than sorry when the moment of truth arrives. I' ve also seen a couple guys at my local archery shop put a little serving just below and above the string loop to ensure that the loop does not move. Once my Winners Choice string arrives and is good and broke in, I believe I will serve my next loop.
