Default LX and TR Matrix sight

I have a friend that has purchased an LX and the new nap drop rest. He wanted to get the TR sight however with the rest the arrow would not clear the sight ring. Does anyone have any input as to what may be the problem. I have plenty of clearance on my legacy for a drop away rest with my TR sight. Any comments would be helpful.

My friend went with the Copper John DEad Nuts sight. He was really hoping to get the TR sight. I don' t think he is really happy with it. Thank you for the response.

I had the same problem on my LX. One of the guys that I shoot with mentioned that I may want to change my anchor point to a little bit lower on my jaw> I tried it and it seemed to work well. I was able to move the sight up a little bit and it also seemed to be more comfortable. I did add a kisser button and that helps with making a more consistant anchor point.

I am shooting a Mathews LX, TR Matrix sight and the Drop Zone and haven' t had any problems. But, I have a pretty low anchor point and yes I use a kisser button.

It’s the sight – If you have a low anchor you can get interference on any bow you put it on, with all that junk hanging down.

I know of a few guys that buy lefty sights and turn them upside down for a righty bow to get the clearance.
