thanks guys....my shot was roughly 10 yards as he was feeding on acorns.......i did have a shot @ roughly 30 yards when he first came in..........he was quartering to me a little bit and i decided to be patient and wait him out.......he almost left the area....he came back heading directly under my tree...while facing me.........but veered and turned broadside for me! after drilling him (he had no clue what hit him...he was very relaxed @ the time shot) 15 minutes later i watched him fall over.......amazing considering the shot placement in the vitals(the pic shows the exit)........tough animals!
