Default Picked up some muzzys

i got a 6 pack of muzzy 3 blade 100 gr the other day. I was getting sick of mechanicals and having to worry if they'll open or not and having enough KE and what not to open. Well after i made sure my bow was tuned i put a BH on and shot from 25 yards. They group great, only an inch lower than my field points and even hit a golf ball sized target, im impressed. They grouped a lot better than thunderheads out of my bow. with all these threads and suggestions about them i had to pick them up, there just a legendary head. Well hopefully i'll get to test them out on some game in the late archery season.

What steps did you go through?

Just curious.

first the shop checked my cam timing. then when i went home i made sure my nocking point was correct, made sure my string was lined up with my rest and then did some paper tuning.

You'll have to "tune" with each BH, likely. The inherent differences in shape make this a necessity.

"Tune" involves the bow AND arrow.

Good luck.

I shot Muzzy's for years and they are a great broadhead. I had no problems, but shot a 50 lb. bow with heavy arrows, so I didn't have the problems created by all the speed bows these days.
