The best rest is something that' s simple, durable, quiet, repeatable and absolutely reliable. That scratches the majority of rests that are popular these days clean off the list, at least MY list. Tops on my list is a rug rest on a recurve or longbow. Next is a simple flipper rest. For release shooting with a compound, I' ve found nothing I like better than my old faithful GKF Golden Premier.

I' ve used many over my years in archery and I must admit the NAP Quicktunes have outperformed everything else. I now use the Quick Tune 4000 and it is a great rest and well worht consideration. Simple, quick to set up and even quicker to tune.

I' ll tell you what the best rest is.......it doesn' t exist. Neither does the best bow, the best arrows, etc....
There are some really excellent rests on the market and some that are junk....which ones are which....
I really love the Bodoodle Pro 500 and Pro Lite.
