Default The woods are too quiet

Im up in the treestand right now in Indiana PA and this is kind of a weird question but everytime I hunt in this spot the squirrels and chipmunks are running around everywhere making tons of noise. For some reason today there are no squirrels or chipmunks what so ever, it's about 68 degrees with a little breeze(same as yesterday). Why are the woods dead, and is this a good or bad thing for deer movement?
