Recommend me a Sight

Here' s what I' m shooting... Hoyt Havoc. my budget is $100 or less...prefer 5 pins, but if i like the site, ill use a 3 pin..micro pins are a plus, and low light visability and a clear sight window is a top priority...let the debateing begin ;)

I have the trophy ridge matrix and believe it to be one of the best sights on hte market. The sight window is round and it works great with a peep sight. They are avaible with micro pins. Everything on the sight is adjustable without any tools!!!! Was a breeze to sight in. They are very secure there is no fear of accidentally knocking it out of tune. It is a little more than $100 though. They have other models under $100 though. They start at around $50 for the flatliner. They come in either 3 or 5 pin models. The 2003' s have steel pins as well istead of the plastic pins. All in all it is a great sight.

I own a Copper John Dead Nuts Pro and Love it. It has five .019 pins and a round pin gaurd which helps you automatically align your peep. The gaurd also has an orange ring on it which also helps with alignment. And on top of that it is made out of all machined aluminum. one very tough sight. If you go with a Copper John I promise you will be very happy.

I just bought a Tru-Glo Bright Site 3 pin with smaller than average pins. I don' t think they were labeled as micro, but they are smaller than the typical pins on most sights. I like the sight a lot, and the pins are the brightest I' ve seen without Tritium or lights or that huge coil of fiber!

Josh, that' s easy, accessorize your Hoyt with Hoyt' s micro adjustable sights...that' s a no brainer.

At least buy one that is micro adjustable with all pins moving together in the same plane so once you set your gap, adjustments are easy.

Trophy Ridge Matrix.........looks great, awesome light gathering capabilities (better if you buy the new light accessory), quiet, easy to adjust and durable. The only thing I didn' t like about the sights was the plastic pins ( i broke one off last year tracking a buck and didn' t know it until my next sit). I have recently upgraded to the steel pin technology. Tip for Trophy Ridge users: I went to my local golf shop and bought a neopreme mallet putter cover. Made a few cuts here and there and it slips right on over my sight for safe storage and travel to and from your stands. The neopreme also absorbs what ever scents your decide to put on it.

well seeing as how you are only wanting to spend a 100 bucks id say take a look at the Spot Hogg Right On. these are rock solid sights. i dont think there is a sight on the market that can compare to them in quality and durability. they are easy to adjust and they stay put once you adjust it. they come with .019 pins on a 5 pin housing. each pin is micro adjustable for windage and elevation. they are plenty bright also.

Spot-Hogg.
They cost a little more but IMO they are the best fixed pin sights you can get.

vital bow gear tombstone. I have the three pin but they make a five pin also. this is the best sight I have seen. The top pin is a cool spool so it is REALLY bright. Check them out!

I just bought a Cobra Sidewinder. Very bright sight and well made. Blew the
Trophy Ridge away in brightness. I also like the Tru Glo Glo Brite sight. Very good sight also.

I have a copperJohn Deadnuts with five pins and it is a good sight but i just bought the new truglo three pin wrap sight. This sight has three pins that have the long wrap around fiber optics which makes it extremly bright. Its also shape like a scope to center in your peep. Great sight!!!

I would go with the copper john dead nuts pro. I got one last week with 5 .019 pins from keystone country store for $60. It is a great sight and if anything ever does go wrong, copper john will fix it for free.

Your requirements described the Vital Bow Gear Trapper sight!;) I' ve got one and its great! The fiber optic is a little larger than the trophy ridge and its super bright. It also has vertical sight pins which are composed of over a yard of fiber optic material per pin. Check it out.[:o]
