What is Arrow Wrap. Is that the jig or the glue?

clean the shaft with denatured alcohol, don' t clean the vanes if using duravanes or plasti-fletch, and use the aee fast set gel. It is pressure sensitive so it doesn' t set till you close your jig then it sets in less than 10 seconds. I use this system for aluminium and carbon

Get some Saunders MPV glue. Trust me it works!

I just started fletching my own arrows too. i shoot beman 400 ics hunter both the black and the camo. i use the eze eye arrow wrap and the bohning tape. i also prep my arrow by scraping the old fletching off first, using plain ajax with a dish sponge to clean the arrow. i wrap the arrow, then use my bitzenburger with the bohning 4 inch feathers and fletching tape. if you want to redo your arrows the cresting wrap comes off fairly easy and no more carving your arrows with a dull knife. just my 2 cents.

Whoever suggested the Goat Tuff glue, you wasn' t kidding about that being tough stuff. I asked, and got more than I bargained for. With this stuff, I have to cut the fletch off and carefully scrap the carbon arrow and still have glue on them. You couldn' t pull the vanes off if you had too. I also picked up some AA Gel. I will try that later.

The last tubes of bohning fletch tite for carbons have failed to hold my fletchings on. I switched to gel super glue and it works. I recently bought some " martin archery" fletching glue and it seems to be holding as well.

Goat Tuff, EZ crest, and the fletching jig. I use acitone (SP) to clean all the old glue off. I have more trouble with getting them off than keeping them on. Clean dry shaft is the key for me.

The reason that denatured alcohol works better is because it doesn' t leave any residue...regular Isopropyl Alcohol leaves a residue...and I agree Goat Tuff glue is tuff stuff!!
