    What type of knife do you carry in the field with you? My favorite is a buck
    swing open blade 31/2" blade half serrated, rubber camo handle, blade locks when open, camo nylon type case.

    gerber gator for hunting

    gerber easy out for everday use

    gerber applegate folder for,well just in case they get past the .45

    did I say I liked gerber knives

    Kershaw blade-trader!!!
    has a boning blade, fillet blade and a saw blade that all go on one handle and is stored in a nylon belt pack.

    I love the gerber 3 1/2 inch lock blade with the gut hook!! great knife for like $30 bucks.

    I carry a Buck Vanguard with rubber handle. I have had it quite a few years and I probably won' t change anytime soon.
