Chuck adams range finder/ bow hunting/ or nikon archers choice?
#1
I mostly bow hunt, and got the chuck adams last night, it can be hard to read. Noisy if you tap on it (hollow sounding)... and im not that impressed with it, they dropped in price used to be 270 bucks, got it for 160 with rebates. Now I think I might go back and get the nikon archers choice... its 199... Anyone have any expirence with the bushnell chuck adams? Like it? Hate it? Let me know... Or of another reasonable option. Thanks
Update. I did get to range some stuff this morning in overcast low light, outside it works ok-good. Ranged some stuff out to 535 yards. Walk in the woods, and the digital display is kinda hard to read, feel like my eye wont focus on the #'s and the arc feature is almost worthless. Aiming into a ravine about 100 yards at at 25deg angle, it was a yard or two diff at the actual shot. Im guessing from a tree stand there wont be much difference, and Im not shooting my bow 100 yards. It is compact, and cheaper. And could be used for gun.. the nikon archers choice cant. Hear the max range is 130. Maybe I should look at the prostaff 550 for 160-190 bucks...
