ONE OF THE BIGGEST 8 POINTS I HAVE SEEN>> PICS!!!!
#1
Hey guys,
Went out spotting last night at the same area that I filmed that other 8 point about a month ago. I saw a huge buck and started filming him. This buck was about 1/2 mile from where I filmed that 8 point a month ago.
This buck has the same shape rack, but, has alot more tine length and mass. I am not sure if it is the same one and he has just grown alot.
You can' t see in this picture, but, his brow tines are about 4" long each.
Here is a picture of him and then a picture of the one from about a month ago.

This big 8 point was with 4 or 5 other bucks that were all small 8 points.
I am just not sure if this is the same deer. He would have had to grown alot in that month, but, deer antlers have one of the fastest cell growths known to man. They can grow up to 1/2" a day depending on genetics and nutrtition.
What do you guys think that buck would score? He is one of the biggest 8 points I have seen. Probablly not the highest scoring but, just looking at the antlers would make him look to be the biggest 8 point I have seen. In other words, the highest scoring 8 point I have seen had roughly a 24" spread, and good mass and tine length, but, the width made him look smaller, where as this guy just looks huge.

Thats a tough call, it appears in the first photo that the rack may be a little bit higher, but either way, very nice deer. What do you think, maybe 170' s? Bobby

That' s an awesome eight point. I love big eight pointers.
I took some film last night of the biggest deer I have ever seen. No BS. If I had a digital camera I would have had the pics on here by now. I' ll try to figure out something.

NIce buck! He looks very similar to one I set my 17 yrold brother on two yrs ago. His grossed 142 but I highly doubt he' s anywhere near 170 LOL. Needless to say though he' s one of the bigger 8' s I' ve seen, and an exceptional PA buck bow or gun!!! Good luck w/ him and shoot true!! I wish I could convert some video I have from deer this year , aquire some new hunting areas and have 10-12 shooters on the vid 1 -8 that' s very similar to your' s and several that are approaching 18-20" on one tract!!!!looks like a good season' s in store!!

Could be the same deer. Although in the top photo the deer appears to be larger (belly, and just overall mass) G-2' s are much bigger in the top photo also, but that could be growth. Either way, a real dandy basic frame 8!!

It seems like the same deer......however if it is, that was an awful lot of growth in just one month....but who really knows until they get that velvet off. Good luck gettin' on em!!
