Default Switching from Right Handed to Left Handed Bow for Eye Dominance?

Anyone here ever switch hands?

I am one of the few people that is right handed but left eye dominant.

I would like to be able to shoot with both eyes open.

Is it hard drawing a bow with the opposite arm.

I have always shot a right handed? (hold grip with left hand) but am interested in changing.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

i am also right handed and left eye dominant, but i figured it out before i started hunting as a kid. But that doesnt mean is was easy when it came to shooting a bow because my right arm was still my strong arm, i just started out at 45 lbs and worked my way up to 63 lbs, i too shoot both eyes open and surprisingly it only took a couple of months of shooting every day before i was able to draw 60 lbs comfortably and consistantly. i hope this helps, good luck.

I have the same thing. I still shoot right handed bow and gun. Just have to shoot the bow and take the time to adjust your sights accordingly. Only thing I did was go with a little bigger hole in my peep sight to allow for more light.

I'm ambidextrious, I perfer shooting right handed due to a number of factors of comfortibility and consistency. Mainly consistency.
