Default Cabela's Scent-Lok® Savanna™ EXT Coveralls

Got a set of these for Christmas, and this will be my first year using scent lok. Anyone have these coveralls? What are your opinions of them?

I like the clothes and as the weather chills wear multiple layers. As for myself I've been in situations where I should've been busted but wasn't. Use your head with the stuff starting with leaving them in a sealed bag till your entering the woods and remove them putting them back in the bag as soon as you come out. There's more too it.

I don't have the coveralls yet, never seem to find them at the right price. Brother got a pair one year for 40 bucks and didn't think of me. He kicks himself over it but the deal kept evolving on him till he realized he was getting them for that price. Cabela's had them on sale and then there was a percentage off and another percentage off was taken at the register. He went back the next year to get more and found out there was a major problem that day and heads rolled. I don't think I've paid more than 50 bucks a piece for any of my stuff including insulated bibs. Deals like that are hard to find anymore.

Rather you learned the ins and outs of it yourself, but here's another tip. Cook the stuff in the dryer on high set for as long as the dryer will run. After about 40 min. take them out hot and put them right in the sealed bag. Washing kills the carbon so only wash them when they are visibly dirty, cook'm when ever you want. Supposedly there good for 20 washes. I only wash mine about twice a year.

People will say you can't regenerate them, but they don't go out and buy new clothes everytime the ones they're wearing stink do they? They regenerate them the way grandma used to do it and rewear them, it's called washing. The ones that get me the most are the confessed fart sniffer that thinks publishing they sniff their farts makes them some kind of expert opinion.
