groups cost me money i shoot at differant spots the first shot is the only one i care about thats called shooting cold this is where you will be hitting reguardless of all the following shots. i do shoot practice about 50 arrows . my groups average 3inch and smaller.

My 25 yard groups are about 2inches and maybe 3 inches at 35yards

At 25 yards I' m probably at a 3" group out of 6 arrows. I' m still overcomming being pin shy. My mechanics are getting better and better, but happy with how I' m shooting!

1.5 to 2 inches normally. On a not so good day who knows[:' (] but look out coz I get p*##ed at myself for not shooting good esspecially at that distance[:@][>:]. I usually don' t like to shoot more then two arrows at th one target so I shoot at different spots usually.

I wouldn' t even begin to want to figure it out. That' s a lot of math. Some groups I' m very happy with, most I' m not. The average diameter between the outside of the two arrows furthest apart in a group, would be tedious to figure, especially with someone as inconsistant as myself. I do know that my 3-arrow groups are smaller on average, than my 6-arrow groups. One thing I know for certain, my groups are not all within 1/2" of other. I don' t know how you guys do it.

DON LOCK..... you got it all wrong. If we' ll lie about something so trivial as the size of our " GROUPS" .... you know you aren' t going to hear the truth come bow season.[:-] Seems like we guys are always lying about the size of something.:eek:

Ok, Ignore my previous post. I never really measured. Last night at 22 yards my first four were 2 inch groups. Back to 40, 4 inch. Back to 60, 6 inch. However, these were my first shots and I was concentrating and that was a good day. As I continued to shoot my arm got a little tired and the groups widened to the point where my groups were probably 6 inches at 40 yards. Every once in a while when I changed distances my first shot was off by 6 or even the unaccaptable 8 though. [:' (] I need to shoot quite a bit more beore opening day.

Well sometimes I can group very well and sometimes I will throw one out. It all depends on how well I can hold my bow, and ease that pin on the bullseye.
