Archery Shops

I was just curious how many archery shops there are in your town? We have about two only in a town that has 258,000 people in it (its on the map, look in Central CA area)

We have a few but not in town the closest one is about 10 miles away. We have a population of about 1000 maybe. We dont even have stoplights in my town, but we have a small bass pro shops store.

....LOL:D

You would kill yourself where I live.[:o]

This was in a local paper a few months ago.

Within 40 miles from my house there are:

47 7-11' s

5 large shopping malls

5 home depots

78 chinese food takeouts

21 Mcdonalds

etc....etc....etc..:D

And there are 4 or 5 bow shops in that same range.

And yet somehow we still have tons of deer:D:)

And I wouldn' t move if you paid me[:-]:)

We have two in our town of about 4500. Each small town within 50 miles or so has at least one archery shop.

Or someone else would do it for you:D

Theres no stop lights where I live either, but there are 2 bow shops within a 25 mi. radius. You can get your fix on Mathews, Hoyt, Bowtech, PSE and all the goodies that go along with them.

As large as Fredericksburg is there is not one real bow shop, the only saving grace is by going only 10 miles out of my way going home from work there is a pretty good one.

I have never actually counted but I would guess that are probably close to a dozen or so within an hour of my home.

Here in the thriving metropolis of Charleston, West " By God" Virginia we actually do not have any, but there are 3-4 within a 1/2 hour drive.

Archery shops come and go and we wonder why. How many of you just go to Walmart for equipment just to save a few pennys? How many would rather give the big stores like Gander, Cabela' s or Bass Pro the money instead of your small shops trying to make a go? In my area, that' s the problem, Walmart will be swamped prior to each season and now it' s Gander. Small shops open and close yearly.
