I used that black electric shrink tubing and hated how fast it wore out, and when it did there was an aweful noise when I drew my bow. Now, I use the teflon covers that slip right over my rest. The same ones have lasted me for two and half years and gone through hunderds of shots.

one word.........teflon.... u can buy it in little thingy' s that fit the fingers;)

MOLESKIN-it worked back in the 60s & it works NOW.

My buddy has some paint on stuff that is supposed to contain teflon. He might have gotten it at Eders, but I am not sure.

i use white teflon thread tape works great and dont cost much
