looking for material to put on arrow rest!!!

I' m looking all over, and can' t find nothing! Looking for a material to stick on or glue on to fingers on a arrow rest. You know, to keep that arrow really really quiet while drawing back. I used felt, it is tooooo loud. Here in northern michigan, no one stocks stuff like that ( i guess it don' t matter, lol) If anyone can point in right direction please mail me. thanks much

hey,
I' ve got just what you' re looking for. Go to; www.wildoutdoors.com and click on their online store. they' ve got what they call ' Thong Tongs' . they are leather sleeves that slip over your TM rest. I' ve got a set and they work great.

Go to your local Walmart and get some Dr Schols Moleskin works great and only costs a couple of bucks.

Teflon tape works well also.

Lasts about 20-30 shots but is deadly quiet.

Dr Schols Moleskin
I use the same. Wears kind of fast but its cheap and easy to replace and is quieter than anything ive tried.

Another vote for mole skin. No idea on brand name, but it works....as smooth and silky as a ........ (I won' t say it, but you can probably imagine) :-)

Well, this may be hard to find but works great. 2 coats of clear silicon paint works great, works great super quiet yet soft..... after 100 or so shots you may want to re-apply to the rest but well worth it.

Look at your local hobby shops

Clear nail polish also will work.

I have seen some teflon paint that Cabelas has. I have not tried it yet, but it looks like it may work very well.

I used that black electric shrink tubing and hated how fast it wore out, and when it did there was an aweful noise when I drew my bow. Now, I use the teflon covers that slip right over my rest. The same ones have lasted me for two and half years and gone through hunderds of shots.

My buddy has some paint on stuff that is supposed to contain teflon. He might have gotten it at Eders, but I am not sure.
