Don't you think people that win any of the major tournys could win with another brand of bow?

If that was directed toward me, you may want to read the part of my post that says Hoyt has the best shooters, that is why they have more wins. However, I do feel that Hoyt has a much better target selection than any other manufacturer going right now. |
I tried to like and buy the Z7 and the Hoyt Maxxis but neither worked for me. Shoot all you can and make a decision that way. Do not go by marketing hype, people are paid to advertise.

As others have said, go for what feels the best for you. If you're willing to drop 2k on a bow, and that's the one that feels best to you, more power to ya.
As far as "most tourney wins" yada yada yada, there's more to a hunting bow than accuracy. Yes, you definately need that, but speed and silence are just as important. I haven't shot either of the bows mentioned, mostly because I can't afford either right now and don't want to be yearning for a better bow than my HavocTec. That said, I'd be willing to bet that they're both comparable, but Hoyt has taken the initiative to innovate new technology, rather than just building on old technology. Most of the reviews would suggest that's the case, and to argue otherwise is just Mathews bias. |

Kinda reminds of the T/C Encore. They actually thru mass advertising convinced folks that a breakopen polk stalker with a much weaker system is superior to a bolt. And in the end you had a 600 dollar polk stalker. |
