Sorry,

But after some more playing, I' m thinking it may be a doe.

You can see the outline of the deer in this picture. The diagonal black is the ears and the lower black is the nose. I don' t know what antlers would like, but I would assume that they would be there. You can almost see three tines above the left ear, but it now simply looks like part of the colour pattern.

Sorry, James.

Mike

There' s definitely antlers there. Nice ones at that. I' m not too good at this program, but he appears to have some great main beams.

I appreciate the effort you guys are putting into getting this picture a little more clear. I think I' m just going to have to shoot the sucker and get pics of me holding it.

OK James,

Here' s the buck from your other picture. I put it through the same rigamaroll to see what the antlers would turn out like. Granted the picutre is much clearer, but the end result is that the camera is able to distinguish mass from air. Thus the other picture is very likely a doe because there is no distinguishable mass.

Again, I say the apparent tines on the first pic are likely just colour deviations.

Cheers.

for as good as the computers and programs are on here, I have yet to see one that can show me something as good as the original picture. I wish you guys could see that. When you scan, it' s just not quite the same.
