They say these things will put a hole the size of a 12 gauge slug.........I can' t even imagine how much KE would be required to do it

I saw a demo on these blades last week,don' t know how much energy it would take.don' t know how they work,didn' t get a close up of the ring.they look good on the demo.they used a regular head and then the razor rings,there was only about 1" difference in penetration.

I have not tested them, but from my understanding you need to shoot them from a shotgun to get enough KE to get them to pass through anything! I will let Antlereater take care of the rest. I believe he has used them on game.

I posted under another thread about this thing that in my opinion it would need to be fired from the deck gun of a Russian whaling ship to get a pass through. If my bow were powerful enough to use this thing then I would just get some expandables with about a 2 inch cut instead. They would definately be more accurate and probably penetrate better.

Proper shot placement and a very sharp broadhead is all that is really needed, I' ve been successful with the old two edge heads and will probably never change. Good luck hunting!
