hey guys have any of you ever used the buck blaster and what kind of results did you have

Have a buddy who has used them for years. The past two years he has missed big deer because of their inconsistent flight. The are erratic on any shots over 20 yards. I think that they are designed to be shot with a heavily fletched aluminum arrow rather then a carbon. That being said, they will kill deer and leave a huge hole. Don't expect a passthrough unless you are pulling 90 lbs plus.

i wonder if i left the fixed blade off of it maybe they would fly better

IMHO not worth the effort. There are many quality heads available that will fly great and do plenty of damage. Killing a Deer with a Bow is more about accurate shot placement rather than putting a Mega hole in a deer.

Don't fall for the marketing schemes.

I'm with MeanV, far too many good heads out there to risk it with one these gimmick heads. Just too much on the front of the arrow for my tastes.
