if you are hunting southeast ohio take a look at wayne national forest ther are hundreds of thousands of acres and you can find some remote areas that are not hunted that hard .also zaleski state forest is very good in athens

thre is alot off wwayne national from south of nelsonville to just north of logan . it is usually hit hard by gun hunters but not during bow season you can find some pretty remote areas with some very nice bucks .contact the ohio division of natrual resources to get maps of both wayne and zaleski.
