I have a response in mind, but what should I tell (or call) him?

As a matter of fact he says that "hunting" should be with spears.

LOL.

What color is the horse he rides to work every day?

My husband hunts naked and kills with his bare hands. He says anything else is cheating and unnatural.

If using a release makes You a better shooter and more accurate then it is better and more ethical to use when Hunting a Deer...then go for it!I use a release because it is easier on my fingers,I'm much more accurate and consistant when shooting and I can pull the string back easier with my wrist and hand.

Regardless of what methods any of us use we don't need to be bashing each other, because we get bashed enough from the Anti's. If there are guys out there shooting todays compounds with fingers, more power to them. But I went to a release because there so short now days there was way to much finger pinch! Call a compound what you want, but it's still a stick and string with an average ethical effective range of 30 yards.........nuff said
