What features do I want in a bowhunting pack .

Exterior pockets on the side of the bag so you can access them without taking off the bag.
Pouch for water/hydration bag, nice to have 1-2 ltrs of water to drink or washup with, and when empty takes almost no room.
Addition straps to fine tune the fit,
Places to clip things onto.

get a cammel back and with pocket's. Also do you use a climber if you do you might want something like a fanny pack so it does not get in the way of the stand as you walk in.

What kind of bowhunting will you be doing?
Will you want it to carry any meat? Carry a treestand? Maybe just carry some extra clothes?

I would say you need to check out Blacks Creek Packs. The 2.0 is my favorite pack it is the perfect day pack, comes with a bow holder, & plenty of pockets...
