What about straps for binoculars so you can have them strapped to your chest and have them out of the way when you draw your bow? Are there straps on the market that are compatible for most binocs?

There sure are. There are several brands to choose from. My personal favorite is Leupold because of the quick detach option. They have fasteners on them so you can quickly take them off of the harness and let someone else look through them. I have also had Crooked Horn Outfitters and like them a great deal too. The best thing about these is that they take the strain off of your neck. I will not go hunting without my binos, and I will not take my binos out without a harness system!

I had some cheap $100 bushnells and the eyecup came off the first time i used them. I sent them back and got a pair of 10x42 Leupold Wind River Cascades and absolutely love them. I will never get anything less anymore, because anything that cost less money would just be a waste of money and a disappointment...
