2 Illinois Bucks In 10 Minutes = Lethal Louie
2 Illinois Bucks In 10 Minutes = Lethal Louie
I gotta share with you all.
So Day before yesterday my Husband and I headed out in the morning to do some bowhunting, he was Buck hunting and I was Doe hunting.
He rattled in this eight point at roughly 7:20am, had him at 35 yards and shot, arrow found its mark and he dropped not more than 50 yards from his tree. Then he sees this 10 pointer coming into his eight pointer and he has his coat all bristled up , posturing and the 10 pointer is sniffing his dead eight pointer, so Louie grunts at him to get him away from his eight pointer ( he was afraid the 10 pointer was going to gore his 8 pointer and ruin his cap ) when the 10 pointer came over to Louie he relized he was a good shooter and had him at 20 yards and took the shot. And the buck ran off but Louie heard that wonderful sound of the 10 pointer crashing 70 yards away when he died.
So in 10 minutes time Louie had Tagged Out on 2 great bucks all by by 7:30am.
I got a call at 7:36am from Louie telling me he had tagged out.. so I knew that was the end of my hunt that morning. As I am trying to gather my stuff for the climb down the tree and in comes a big doe and fawn and of course I caught Christines Contagious 40 yard Forcefield cause she never came any closer than 40 yards, so I then climbed down.. I was so excited for him I was shaking on the way climbing down out of the tree just like I had just shot one
Christine is calling him Lethal Louie and boy is he ever
