Default HCA Sidewinder problem

I have recently purchased an HCA sidewinder single cam bow. I love the bow but after about 200 shots the bus cable has become very frayed and damaged. The damage to the cable is occurring right near the top of the cam when the bow is at rest. Has anyone else had any problems with this? I am also going to need a new bus cable and am not to sure what size replacement cable to get, as the specs have rubbed off. Any help on this subject would be great! Thanks!
