First bow buck/compound bow kill!!
went out Friday the 29th...started off with two does coming out of a thicket about 15 yards to the South i looked up and a big 8 started coming towards them chases both of the does back into the thicket and he followed 5 min later i look up and a 10 point was running right by my stand i tried getting him to stop but he wouldnt and i didnt understand why 2 min later i did a dog came jogging through right behind him...my buddy is in the stand in the front of the thicket and shot at a 6 point well im already pretty upset seeing two big bucks go by when the 6 stepped out of the thicket about 630 bleated at him and he turned and went the other way (i didnt understand this) so i grunted at him and he turned around and headed my way im guessing he was curious finally walks up about 15 yard i shoot and heard a thud! watched him run about 30 yards then stop showing no signs of being hit...watched him trot of then heard him fall...i was pretty pumped as i have shot a couple deer with a crossbow but never with a compound this is my 1st out gave him some time just to make sure...found out the pse axe 6 and nap bloodrunners did there job! i ended up with a 6 pt nice body and 4-5 in brow tines im happy with him
