Default looking for a new bow

hey, im new here but from some of the post i have read it seems yall now what ur talking about, i am in the market for a new bow and i have narrowed it down to a few and i was wondering if i could pick ur brains for some advice, i am getting just the bow not the package because i have more than enough stuff to out fit one, i was looking at the pse stinger for 299, or the brute for 399, but i also have a friend at a bow shop who has a hoyt powerhawk he said he can let me have for 325, any advantages or disadvantages to these, i have been shooting an old nove team fitz addition for i dont know how long and im just ready to retire it and upgrade any info would be appreciated thanks

Deffinately shoot all three side by side and then pick the one that feels the best to you. Good luck to you!

i shot all three i like PSE for the simple fact my nova has never let me down but the hoyt felt a little smoother than the stinger and the brute, but its the slowest IBO of the three but not by much and im not to worried about speed, i would rather i have a quite-accurate bow over a fast one. if they never hear it coming it doesnt matter how fast the arrow is going lol, im just the type of person that i do alot of research before i buy something and i was wondering what is yalls input on these bows, pros and cons, reputations ect ect.

I purchased a new bow this year. Ide shoot them all side by side and make a decision on what feels the best to ya. I got a 'bear strike' rth this year, good bow so far, shoots similar to my friends hoyt. Seen the "bear charge' for 399 shoots about the same. Like mohunter said, what feels right is what you need to go with. The let off on the bear is nice, and @60lb draw it sends carbon arrows screaming

i went back to the store and shot all 3 again and i decided on the hoyt, it just felt smooth, and it seemed i was a little more accurate with it i dont know if it was the bow or just me, but so far i like it
