Default Help

I am about to get my first bow and I was just wondering. I don't want to put more than 500 or a little more into my bow. Would it be a better idea to get a new bow package (like a Bear Strike RTH package) or to get a used Hoyt V-Tec or Mathews Outback (Both available in my area) already set up with everything?

I would buy new just because you don't know what your getting when you buy a used bow. I would buy a Martin Cheetah. Got a whole package deal for $450.

I would look over on archery talk in the classifides. You can find some sweet deals for around $500.

I shoot a Martin cheetah and I love it.. Its not as fast or quiet as my buddy's bows, but it does the job for sure. I bought it 3 years ago and I've taken 5 deer and an elk with it.
