RE: Who' s using the oldest equipment?

I am still using my first and only bow. It' s all I have ever used. My old PSE Laser came out in 1980 or 81 I think. That would make it either 22 or 23 years old.

Until this year, I have been using and 1992 Model PSE Carroll Intruder. I also have used my trusty ole Bear Whitetail II(about 10 deer to it' s credit).

This year I' m dropping them in the closet for the Bowtech Extreme VFT. It' s nice to finally shoot a ' modern' bow.

I' m not sure how old my bow is.
I bought a used Proline bow I' m not even sure what model for $99 It' s probably
atleast 20 years old.
I' ve killed over 20 deer with it over the years. I take it to the pro shop every couple
years to have it tuned up and a new string. I have some great memories hunting with
that bow. but I think it' s time to retire it. And buy another used bow I can get a good
used bow from my pro shop for under $200. Some guys buy a new bow every 5
years or less. Maybe because they think a new bow will make them a better hunter
Maybe it does? I' m going this week to get my new used bow. But I' m still keeping my
Proline just because of the great memories it' s has in it.
