Just watched 2 eights chase a doe through the field out back! What a sight seeing them in real life after only catching them on trail cameras this summer. YAY

Nothing going on here in the souther tier of NY

Im in DE and hunted last night saw bucks and does in the same feild feeding..aint happening yet in my neck of the woods.

Approximately 3% of the does in the nation come into estrous for the first time during this week, Alsheimer has written about it some, as has Tom Indrebo (Bluff Country Outfitters). It's possible the doe you saw had come into estrous early. No doubt it's exciting to see them in the flesh though!

I live near laurel have 100 acres of soy beans out back. Deer all but disappeared second week of archery and yest was first time i saw any out back before dark and to see two fantastic 8s was a great sight. Tonight saw 7 does an hour before dark so looking pretty good for rut bait. Haha

Nice I hunt about 900 Acres in Georgetown...And have seen alot of does in the last week or so and some bucks in the group and none have been chasing or seem to be swelled up..

But its almost that time my freind !! Good luck with the better part of the Season!

bucks are just startin to gear up in northeast PA.. called in two decent bucks usin the can call and the grunt tube.. should be gettin real good in the next couple weeks
