Default New Stand Location Question???

I set up a new stand today in a location that I really like. While doing so, anything that could go wrong, went wrong. It was horrible. Anyways, after making a ton of noise and probably spreading my scent everywhere, how long do you think I need to stay out of there to let things calm down?? Will it ever be the same??

I'd hunt it and find out. I've set up stands the day before and had deer within bow range the next day. If it's right next to a bedding area, I'd give it a few days. If it's just a travel route, I'd hunt it the next day.

I've always waited 48 hours but you could sit in it tonight and see a lot of deer. Its all up to you.
