Safety belt

Doesn anyone know of a site that I could order a Safety belt not an Harness? Something durable. Im having trouble finding just a belt with a rope. I understand its not as safe but I'll wing it.

I'm guessing that they don't even make them any more due to liability reasons (ie. they know they're less safe than vests, harnesses, etc).

I figured that. I just think the vest's are a hassle.

Just tie a rope directly to your neck - only slightly quicker.

A belt will turn you upside down. A chest strap will tighten breaking ribs and not allow you to inhale so you stop breathing. All that sounds like a hassle to me but your decision. Please ,for the sake of your loved ones, wear a harness.

So is going to the emergency room.:s4: Get a harness.

In my industry you get to wear a harness alot. After seeing a hanfull of videos and doing classes on harnesses I would recommend you use the harness and not the safety belt. The amount of force that is generated in a fall is a lot.

we have actually started to get away from the stretchy lanyards and going to the retractable lanyards. They are more bulky but will only allow you to drop a inch or so instead of a few feet.
