Default ehd strikes again

I found a dead doe today along the river bank. I just saw her and a fawn in the exact same spot last night. I've suspected this has been going on the last couple of years. Our numbers have been really low for this area. Nice to finally know the reason. I will definitely be on the look out for more casualties.

Hope for an early frost, that way it won't take too big of a toll on the population.

We got hit very hard with this a couple years ago in Ky when it was really dry. So far this year I haven't seen or heard of it.
