after reading the post on bill jorden and others most people here say look what they have done for bowhunting. well i say they have not done that much including myself.bill jorden and others including BOW companys could spend there money more wisely.i like you drive down the interstate daily and see deer laying around all over at least here in wiscosin the damage they cause injurys loss of life. i was thinking how bout a billboard with a picture of a bowhunter dressed in realtree or whatever holding a new bow from some company??? with a slogan as this person may save your life or loved ones. picture in corner with ma and pa with the kiddys in there car with deer crossing the road. i think the price would not be all that bad what do you think.

What a great idea,Selway!I' d love to see somethimg like that alongside our highways-it would definitely project a more positive image of hunters and get the mainstream public thinking differantly.

I think everybody is hitting the head of the nail here, except as far as promoting the sport,we have to start doing more with our youth, policeing our ranks, and this advertising idea is fantastic-I would contribute to this myself!

I agree with bigbuck24. The answer is through our youth. I grew up thinking hunting was the stupidest thing in the world. Who would want to sit in the cold for hours to shoot some stupid deer. The reason being is that I had only a single mother who surprisingly did not hunt. She does now. Now I love to hunt and you can' t keep me out of the woods and now I even have my mother going hunting a couple times a year. The best thing you can do is take a kid hunting, especially one who would not get the chance if someone would not offer.
