Default Blood Runner Broadheads?

Has anyone shot these broadheads? I am curious how they compare to the rage 2 blades. Do they fly the same as a field point or would I have to change my sights?

I think the desgn looks like it would have very poor penetration qualities

I dont know if I would agree with that statement. I just bought some and checked them out pretty well. The penetration doesnt seem to be any different than any fixed blade but the plus is the wider cut at the point of entry.

This is my 1st year with them and I will let you all know if I experience any ill-affects.

I used them last year and they will be in my quiver this year. They fly awesome the same as my field tips and i did not have to change my sights at all. As for the penatration my buddy and my self blew right through are deer and we are shooting 70# my daughter shot her buck with a 42# hoyt and the tip of the broadhead was just sticking out of the oppisite side shoulder..They do make a whistle when shot but none of the three bucks shot ever flinched.. I got some a few weeks back and I love them. They shoot great, just like field tips. I agree they are a little loud in the air bit its not bad. They penetrate my foam target better than field tips do. and the cutting is awesome.

Fly like field points.
Same great mechanical quality of rage(blades fully deployed on entry)
Will always cut even if mechanism fails
I can't tell the 2 blades are loud but I shoot feathers.

I do, but If u only have the energy to shoot a coc 2 blade then u don't need to be discussing mechanicals anyways...
