For anyone who uses the spirfire broadheads or the spitfire max heads im curious as to how fast your bows are shooting and what kind of KE you have..I ordered a pack of the spitfire max heads with 1 3/4in cut and am now second guessing if I have enough power to shoot these heads with their huge 3 blade cut..Im pulling 66lbs,should be 70lbs but its off a little bit and im shooting a 450gr arrow at 260FPS,which gives me 68lbs of KE..Is this enough for the 1 3/4in cut of the spitfire max or should I trade them in for the regular spitfire with the 1 1/2 in cut??

hey bb.. to answer your question.. yes you most likely have enough KE to use them without question but you may not always get a pass through.. i shoot a 420 grain arrow at 315 for 96 lbs KE.. i personally will not have a problem but my friend shoots a similar setup to yours and used the 2 blade rage with little problems no complete pass throughs all the time but still very effective.. when in doubt use fixed blades

I've taken 11 deer with spitfires and 9 passed thru.
The other two....one was a steep angle shot and came in high in the spine and the second one cut a rib going in and caught the back side shoulder.
