what do u use as a back stop?
I'm sick of using straw bales as a back stop. They are to difficult to get rid of when they go bad, usually after one season! What do you use or have seen as a back stop?

I have a feed bag stuffed full of rags as a backstop. The more you shoot at it the better it works. When the bag gets shot up, slip another over the top. I've have the same backstop for over 20 yr.'s. I hang it between 2 posts or just prop it up on the ground and put a target in front of it.

I always practice out of the 3 stands I have placed in trees around the yard, so I use the ground. A lesson I learned years ago, practice like you hunt.

i use a straw bale but we just sit it by our fire pit and roll it in there and burn it when its torn up

I'm lucky that my yeard ends in the woods so if I miss my arrow just skips into the woods and I track it down.

I use my fence

I use a feed sack full of leaves.. works for me

i'd have to agree with PY on this one, i make sure my sights are right on from the ground then start shooting 15ft or higher, much easier than searching threw leaves and other forest clutter...

My trash dumpsters. And if my arrows get by those then my garage door.

I went from bales to a big sand pile.Works great with any head and lasts forever.
